Why, you may ask, is so much of the content on this website focussed on Tournaments

We believe that the best way to promote a sportfishing boat, is to fish it hard, and what better way to do that than by participating in Tournaments?

In Richards bay, where we did not have a suitable tournament, we created one!

The now well established and very popular annual BlackWatch Billfish Tournament where you have to catch AND release Billfish to score points is now in its fifth year and has not only proven that the Blackwatch and DeepVee products are  formidable contenders, but that Richards Bay is a marlin hotspot of note.

Our development input in this area has not gone un-noticed and played a large role in assisting SADSAA to secure the 2008 FIPS-M World Trolling Championship event for Richards Bay.

However, the best is yet to come - hopefully in the next event in January 2009

Watch this space for an imminent announcement about possible future Corporate involvement and International status that will launch the "Blackwatch" as it has become popularly known, into the really big league!
